Advanced Personal Safety Qualification with Physical disengagement & Restraint Skills
This course has been designed for employees that may as part of their job role be required to physically escort, hold or restrain an individual. Emphasis is placed on reducing the medical implications on all concerned. The use of specialist equipment can be included in this module.
This course should be of particular interest to security guards, Community Wardens, Air crew and other employees that may be required to manage conflict.

Duration of Course:
This is a 4 day course
Previous Learning Requirements:
Basic understanding of English. It is recommended that candidates have an understanding of ‘First Aid’ and are ‘Manual Handling’ trained.
Additional Information:
Candidates should also be fit to perform normal working duties and be injury free. A health declaration is required to be signed by each candidate on the day of the course.
Refresher Training:
It is highly recommended that this training is refreshed at least twice a year the refresher course is scheduled for two days.
