Established in 2006 we are now one of the UK’s leading specialists and Northern Ireland’s premier training provider. In addition to our core training role we have developed extensive partnerships through our expertise in consultancy with clients.
It is only with complete understanding, that the individual can excel both for themselves and their employer. It is for this reason that we spend time tailoring the course to the individual’s needs to meet the overall goal of all stakeholders. This can include contextualising the learning material for an organisation or using recent events to highlight areas.
The courses we provide are constantly reviewed and reflect current best practice. Accredited courses are provided in association with relevant awarding bodies and care is taken to ensure only the highest standard of teaching practice is used. Reasonable adaptations can be made to cater for different learning styles or requirements.
To reduce abstraction from the workplace and increase training efficiency, Specific Training is expanding the use of ‘blended learning’ on many courses. This may include the use of workbooks, e-portfolios or online course material in addition to contact time.
